A: Hi Geof. It is recommended if you do not have anything placed on top of the rug to hold it down to get a rug pad. Generally, you want either a size or two down from the rugs size for a pad. In your case, it would be either a 7' X 9' or 8' x 10' sized rug pad. Thank you for your inquiry.
