A: Why not? (even tho Safavieh doesn't recommend below). I use a big one of these between my ripped old muslin couch-cover & a gorgeous thin quilt I "recovered" it with. (Just the white arms- where muslin isn't ripped- stick out). Has been working like a charm for 6 yrs. BUT more important to pose this question to your mattress/boxspring mfr.

A: I assume so. But mine had a strong chemical smell. It disappeared in a few hours, but it was strong at the time. If you're cautious about chemicals in your home, you might want to look for a more all natural product.
