A:  Hello Lynne, while the color is entirely up to you, there are layers of dark blue followed by a lighter series of different blues. I hope this helps.

            Q:Does this rug have a strong dye smell? The last rug I bought (from Home Depot) several months ago has a strong smell, which affected my sinuses. Even after placing the rug outside in a gazebo for two weeks, the rug still smells. That is my concern before I purchase this rug.

            A:  Hi. The dye smell shouldn't be very apparent as it usually takes months between production and manufacturing before a customer receives it. There could be a possibility that smell lingers longer on the wool material which in this case is about 40% of the pile. Thank you for your inquiry.
