Temperatures in the 40's will be too cold, and not allow the coating to cure properly. A:  Pre-Heat hitch in oven, torch, etc. If necessary. Spray out outside and then bring in after cooling. Shouldn't take more that 5 minutes. I would say heat to 350 ⁰ but spray at 150⁰to 175⁰. The heat will drop fast is the reason for going to 350⁰.
