Q:I have heavy blackout curtains that I'm looking to hang. How much weight does this rod support?

A:  Hi, These Lockseam' rods are meant for very light weight drapes, think of a valance type half panel over kitchen / bathroom windows. No more than 6 lbs. For heavy blackout curtains, you should probably use a rod at least 1" in diameter.
