A:  Hello, Thank you for your interest in our RiverRidge® X-Frame Spacesaver. This widest point of this cabinet is 25.98". This is the minimum space required to fit the cabinet's width. The bottom bar is screwed on to the two legs from the outer-part of the legs so if there is no extra space on either side of the cabinet, it will not be possible to assemble the bottom support bar. If there is space on either side of the cabinet after being placed behind the toilet, this bottom support bar most definitely can be installed after placement. I hope this information helps. A:  The bottom crossbar is exactly at the level where the water supply fixture comes in from the wall. So I used the crossbar as a wall mount at the top of the storage space saver.

A:  Crossbar is 8 inches from the floor to the bottom of the crossbar. The unit was easier to install without the crossbar at first to clear the minimal distance between the wall and toilet. I then installed the crossbar after setting the unit in place using an offset screwdriver due to tight spacing in this bathroom.

A:  32 inches from the floor to the underside of the crossbar support of the bottom shelf. The shelf hangs out in front of this support member and the bottom of the shelf (in front of the cross member support) is 33.25 inches which perfectly allows my toilet lid to rest under.
