A:  Probably but it will be a tight fit. My opening is 13.5 inches and I have a bit of room on each side.

A:  you need to check the measurement of the slide out and make sure that the slide out is narrow enough for your particular cabinet, they have a few different sizes, and the door mounting brackets are really great, I absolutely love that I made the decision to have them added, they are however not easy to install, but once you get through it you will be happy with the result.

A:  yes I believe the width of the tracks is 10+. It should fit. On the Rev-A-Shelf website it gives specific dimensions.

A:  I bought the slides and door mount back in July and installed in an island I built for the kitchen. The outside dimension of the slides inside the cabinet measure 10-3/16" and the slides that come out of the opening measure 10". It will be tight, but should fit in your 11" opening. The door mounting bracket I purchased was Model # 5WB-DMKIT - 8 in. H x 1.5 in. W x 2.13 in. D Metal Door Mounting Kit for Wire Sink and Base Units. Good luck with your project.

                      Answer This Question

A:  This particular unit does not door mount. If you bought the optional door mount kit, then yes, the door mount kit will work with 99% of all doors and it allows for enough adjustability.

                        by|May 4, 2023

A:  I just checked my installation and the bracket that attaches to the door attaches to the vertical side pieces of the door, which is 3/4" thick. If your cabinet door is at least 3/4" on the sides (standard raised panel construction), then you'll have no problem. If your door is thinner than 3/4" you might need to get some slightly shorter screws- but it will still work.

A:  I just measured my installation and from the bottom of the cabinet to the top of the waste basket is 19 3/8 inches. I looked under my double sink and there's no way it would fit on the deep or shallow side since all the plumbing is back there. I put my slide in a side cabinet, just left of the sink. I think you'll have better luck not putting it under the sink.

A:  All you need for each unit to work properly is 11.5" of width. As long as you have this for each one, you should be fine.

A:  Yes, I believe so. The metal frame is only approx. 10" wide so two(2) would fit fine in a 24" cabinet, I believe. However, you would have to make sure that your piping (if you're installing under sink) would not interfere. If installing in a sink cabinet you would have to put one on either side of the piping in cabinet. Therefore, you must measure to make sure you had 10" on either side all the way back free of piping interference. If not in a sink cabinet a 24" cabinet is more than big enough to hold two(2) of these roll out trash cans.

                                  Answer This Question

A:  The metal base pull out is the widest part of this ensemble(approx. 10") so I would guess the minimum cabinet width would be approx. 12" as you must allow for hardware in cabinet. The height of this trashcan with the metal pull out is approx. 18" so I would say 19"-20" would be more than enough clearance.. It fits perfectly in any kitchen base cabinet in height. The depth of the metal pull out is only approx. 17 1/2" deep so it fits easily in a 24" deep kitchen base cabinet. Any cabinet 18" deep or deeper would fit this trash can fine as long as there is no interference with piping etc..

A:  The handle must be flush against the waste container when the cabinet door is closed. When flush towards the top, it does not extend above the top of the waste container.

A:  that would depend on how high your cabinet opening is, and how deep you install the tracks. I installed the door mount kit so the handle just hangs out of the way with clearance to the door.

A:  Yes, the handle actually moves nicely up and down so you can pull the handle out a bit when you open cabinet and then simply move handle back up to close the cabinet door. There is no problem with closing the cabinet door!

A:  The basket is approx. 10 1/4" X 14 1/2". I'm not sure of the gallon size exactly but I use the tall kitchen bags and they suit me fine. They are somewhat bigger than the trash can but it works for me. Yes, there is a metal holder for trash bags which is sturdy and convenient. Unfortunately, I couldn't use the metal trash bag holder as my pipes and dishwasher piping were in the way in the back of the cabinet. I am happy with this trash can and it's functionality with the handle also. You can pull out the trash can without having to touch the trash can/bag itself which is a great feature. The handle moves up and down so there's no problem fitting it into cabinet when closed!
