Q:Will this fit a larger 13 gallon waste bin?
by|Aug 28, 2020

Answer This Question

A:  Yes, it should fit.

by|Oct 23, 2020

A:  Not likely. The smaller sized bin is designed so as to help it clear sink drain/garbage disposal plumbing and cabinet door openings. I do use 13 gallon bags in the bin.

    by|Aug 28, 2020

A:  Yes, it’s a great product and very easy to install.

    by|Dec 18, 2020

A:  As long as the measurements of the waste can are the same and you have enough clearance below your sink bowl yes.

      by|Sep 9, 2020

A:  Yes, this is much larger; I use 30 gallon trash bags in it.

Q:Does this include the brackets to attach the door front as shown in the pictures? Or, can I use the ones from my existing slides?

      Answer This Question

A:  When I bought mine, it did not come with the brackets.

      by|Jul 27, 2020

A:  Optional Door mount kit 5WB-DMKIT is sold separately. Looking at your picture and comparing it to that shown on the HD site it does appear that your existing brackets could work.

Q:How much clearance does it have from the bottom of the cupboard? I have a lip on my cupboard that is about half an inch.

      Answer This Question

      A:  3/4" from inside cupboard.

      by|Jul 11, 2020

A:  There are two sliding rails that extend as you pull the basket out. The first one that extends has about 11/16 inch clearance to the mounting surface (bottom of the cupboard.) The second one extends after the first one has fully extended, and it has almost exactly 1/2 inch clearance to the mounting surface. (See the attached photo.) This one may or may not interfere with the lip on your cupboard depending on exactly how close to 1/2 inch tall it is. If it does hit/stick on the lip you will not be able to fully pull out the basket. You could consider slightly shimming the unit above the bottom of your cupboard, if necessary.
