A:  The description or copy says that "many" have a removeable rear bin, but this is only on the single bin units. The double 35Qrt and 50Qrt do not have a rear compartment as the 2nd trash container is occupying this space.

A:  Yes, my inside opening opening is 21” wide by 21 1/2” tall and it fits perfectly. Best thing I ever put into my kitchen. Well made very sturdy. Took door off and attached it to the front. Love it!

A:  The 19.25 inch height is measured from the bottom of the metal brackets (the cabinet bottom) to the top of the trash container.

A:  I couldn't find them. The 35 quart shows lids that be purchased, but the 30 quart does not. So far it has not be an issue with my 30 quart. The cupboard is a self enclosed unit that does not share any openings with the rest of the cupboard. I like the smaller size and am not inclined to let waste build up in it. i also have the bag storage and it is very efficient.

A:  Unfortunately no. Lids are only available for 35 Qrt and 50 Qrt and these are of course 30 Qrt.

A:  The dimensions should be for the can holder itself, so your cabinet needs to be at least that big. It's easy to install and very well built. I'm very happy with it.

A:  Yes, this product is designed to fit into a Base 24" cabinet with a 20.5" or larger opening.

A:  The dimensions given are for the inside cabinet space needed to fit the cans and the wooden compartment they sit in. Your cabinet could be larger but obviously not smaller than these dimensions. I've had mine for over six months, I love it.

A:  If you open it all the way to the back, it disables itself. If you want it to close automatically don't pull it all the way to the back.

A:  I don’t see any way to disable the auto-close feature. But it does have a stay-open position when fully opened. So when it is fully open you must nudge it to start the auto-close feature.

A:  Yes, the gas piston can be removed if you want to disable soft-close.
