Q:What is the measurement from front to back? I thought the "9 in. D" meant front to back but the diagram indicates that it is the top to bottom measurement. I have a shelf that is 10" wide and need to know if this will fit without sticking out over the edge.

A: Fits comfortably in the depth of upper cabinets. I mounted the rear bracket 2-1/4" from the wall to allow room for different size bottles to fit. Mounted front bracket so that there was 8-1/4" between them.

A: The racks are independent and you can space them anyway you want. Obviously there is a maximum distance since in order to hold a wine bottle they can't be too far apart.

Q:Are these separate metal pieces? How many are in a "box"? There is no mention of how this is to be installed.

A: THese are (2) seperate pieces that get mounted one in front of the other with (2) screws each. Very simple installation.It iwll hold (2) bottles of wine, etc.

A: Each box has 2 hangers — one for the front/neck of the bottle and one to hold up the back end of the bottle. There are screws provided in matching color. To install, you simply screw them in with two screws apiece. You just need to determine how far back on your shelf you want to install the holders.
