Answer This Question
A: My experience, these shades are a one-time use. The adhesive is not like a post-it-note. I suggest you cut the shade closes to the top and use double sided tape to attached the shade to the new window.

A: You can try to remove them by sliding a single edge razor along the adhesive.

A: Hi there Rosie, our Original Shades are meant for only one application. However the best way to remove the shade is to gather the pleats on one side all the way up and gently peel back the shade. Please not that this will not guarantee that the shade remains undamaged.

A: Hi Daryl, thank you for the great question. No, we do not custom manufacture our paper shades to specific sizes. They are offered in sizes, 36" x 72" and 48" x 72". If you need a 72" width, you can overlap two shades, and join in the middle, as shown here, https://redishade.com/how-to-cover-extra-wide-windows/ . Please reach out with any questions and we would be more than happy to assist you. Redi Shade Customer Care

A: Bought them a while back not sure if it was the price you quoted, but they were real cheap. Mind you they are just made of thin paper and won't darken your room. Mainly for privacy in a vacant property or before you settle on some type of permanent window covering for your new home.

A: Yes, it is for a box of 6 shades. Each shade comes with 2 clips to hold it up when you want to open the shade. I really like these shades. They won't last forever, I'm sure, but I've had mine up for months and they still look good. I had to replace 14 window shades at the same time when I had new windows installed, and this was an economical way to do it. The shades cut easily with a serrated knife. Enjoy.

A: Yes, they’re paper shades, so you can cut them to fit any narrower width. It can be tricky to cut them neatly with scissors or a utility knife, but not impossible.

Q:How do you install the temporary shade?

Answer This Question
A: There is adhesive on the top. Cut to right width, peal, and stick.

A: The key to installing the shade that looks great is to measure and cut like you're hanging permanent window coverings. Don't use scissors to cut use a tool that gives you a clean even cut. I used original shade cutter. Also once I cut the shade, I aligned with the window to make sure of fit, I then removed covering strip on tape and pressed in place

A: There is an adhesive on the top. You remove the backing and stick the blind directly to the glass.

A: These were really easy to put up. You simply peel and stick. There is double sided tape pre-applied to the top of the paper shade. I got these when I replaced all of my windows, and didn't have permanent blinds yet to install. They look great, are inexpensive, and last. I've been very pleased with them.

A: Yes they can
by|Mar 9, 2020
A: Yes, you could do that.
by|Mar 4, 2020
A: Yes. We have it on an odd sized window and I taped it directly onto the glass.
by|Mar 8, 2020
A: Yes, these shades can be attached directly to the glass.
by|Mar 4, 2020
A: Only is the glass is flat and smooth without trim.
by|Mar 10, 2020
A: I've never tried that but it attaches by a strip of glue. So if your surface is flat it will stick, but the shade will bend from the sticky part so not sure if that would make it fall off easier.
by|Mar 9, 2020
A: Yes they can as long as there are no mutton's in the way. The blinds would still need to be trimmed to fit.

A: Hello, thank you for the interest in our Arch shades. At this time, our Arch is only offered in one size, 72" x 36", so would be small in your window. You may have to look into a custom Arch option which Redi Shade does not offer. Please reach out if we can help with any other questions, Redi Shade Customer Care

A: No 36x72 or 48x72

A: One size. One has to use more than one to fit wider areas. Cut to fit. I used a razor knife.
