A:  Yes. If you view the item on Home Depot's web site, there is a close-up of the trigger area. You can see the forward-reverse switch, it is a black lever just above the trigger and below the little directional arrow (embossed on the orange drill body).

A:  Check the parts diagram. Some drill chucks have a left hand thread center screw that must be removed. After the center screw is removed secure the short end of an Allen wrench in the jaws. Next strike the Allen wrench with a plastic mallet to unscrew the chuck.

A:  I haven't tried to replace this chuck, but typically the chucks have left hand threads. You can try to take a pair of vice grips on the chuck then give it a hit with a mallet in the direction of forward rotation. it shouldn't take much to loosen the threads, then you can unscrew it.

Would not have needed to purchase this one, but my eldest son borrowed mine and I guess claimed squatters right to it. He really likes it (first one) also. Well worth the money.

A:  Hi Tinknocker, With a keyless chuck you want to close the bit in the chuck and lock it in place with out squeezing the trigger. If you squeeze the trigger and hold the chuck to lock it down you are not getting enough pressure on the chuck and it will actually looses as you use it. If the bit slips it could be this reason it happens or it is too small for the chuck to hold. Hope this helps? Greg

A:  I have recently used it to drill holes into a solid, wood beam for hooks to hang a stain glass window. The chuck held strong. When I tightened it about the drill, it clicked twice and I was ready to go. I was hesitant getting this drill, but it is a good buy, and I'm pleased with it's performance. Hope this helps.
