A: Yes.
A: Yes. If you view the item on Home Depot's web site, there is a close-up of the trigger area. You can see the forward-reverse switch, it is a black lever just above the trigger and below the little directional arrow (embossed on the orange drill body).
A: Yes, it is reversible.
A: Yes
A: Yes

A: The RIGID drill is 5.2 lbs.complete with bag and box.
A: I weighed the drill motor with its cord on a postal meter scale. It weighed 3# and 10 oz. The 5.2# must be with bag and box. I hope this clarifies it for you. Sorry about the delay. I'm not on the computer every day.
A: Hi Greg, For this model is does weigh 5.2 lbs. Thanks for asking. Greg
A: It weighs 3.6lbs. The 5.2lbs includes bag and accessories.
A: Check the parts diagram. Some drill chucks have a left hand thread center screw that must be removed. After the center screw is removed secure the short end of an Allen wrench in the jaws. Next strike the Allen wrench with a plastic mallet to unscrew the chuck.
A: The chuck can’t be removed, if you need a larger bit holder get an adapter
A: You have to unplug the drill so that the chuck can be unscrewed.
A: I haven't tried to replace this chuck, but typically the chucks have left hand threads. You can try to take a pair of vice grips on the chuck then give it a hit with a mallet in the direction of forward rotation. it shouldn't take much to loosen the threads, then you can unscrew it.
A: Hi MarkD, Please call our customer service and they can walk you thru the process of removing the chuck. Thanks for asking. Greg
A: Fantastic.
A: Hi Matt. This should be good for this type of task. Thanks for asking. Greg
A: Bought mine a while back. It has yet to fail doing what I need done. Great drill and packs a good punch. Would not have needed to purchase this one, but my eldest son borrowed mine and I guess claimed squatters right to it. He really likes it (first one) also. Well worth the money.
A: I highly recommend this drill. When you tighten the chuck tight, the drill bit won’t spin out.
A: I purchased my Ridgid Drill several months ago and feel it was an excellent choice. I've had no problem either with the drill bits or the chuck. I recommend it highly.
A: You need a drill bit adapter.
A: Hi Tinknocker, With a keyless chuck you want to close the bit in the chuck and lock it in place with out squeezing the trigger. If you squeeze the trigger and hold the chuck to lock it down you are not getting enough pressure on the chuck and it will actually looses as you use it. If the bit slips it could be this reason it happens or it is too small for the chuck to hold. Hope this helps? Greg
A: I have recently used it to drill holes into a solid, wood beam for hooks to hang a stain glass window. The chuck held strong. When I tightened it about the drill, it clicked twice and I was ready to go. I was hesitant getting this drill, but it is a good buy, and I'm pleased with it's performance. Hope this helps.
A: Yes and I am very pleased with this drill/driver! Started installing barn doors this weekend with cordless and it was sluggish & died. This drill had no problem at all.
A: Yes, it is reversible and if you click on the "Use and Care Manual" it will tell you that it is reversible as well.
A: Hi Tracy, This drill does have a switch for revering the motor. Thanks for asking. Greg
A: Yes, this product is reversable.
A: YES, AND THE CHUCK HAS A GREAT GRIP FOR HOLDING BITS.
A: Yes. I didn't like the display model reverse lever and purchased the yellow brand.
