A:  Hi Kimm, Both blades are great for cutting hard materials but have many differences. 1-Design - The segmented blades have individual segments attached to the core of the blade exposing fresh diamonds for continued cutting as oppose to the Turbo blade which is a serrated edge, which allow for faster cooling and debris removal. 2 - Speed - Segmented offers great cutting speed but not as fast as the turbo blade. 3 - Finish - Segmented may leave a rougher finish while the turbo blade leaves a smoother cleaner finish due to the design. 4- Life of Blade - Both blades will last a long time 5- Needs - Both are designed for masonry materials, but it will depend on which you want for which material and how fast you would like to cut the material and the finish. Both RIDGID segmented and turbo blades are great choice blades.
