      Answer This Question

A:  Hi the differences between them is mainly due to the amount of cameras and the specifications of the cameras. For example some have a Effio Chipset to make the image a bit sharper or the amount of cameras included in the bundle are more for a business type setting. The bundle you have put this question on is a perfect bundle for home or business. It depends what type of coverage to know which one you would want to order. Also what kind of quality in recording you want to be able to view back on. If you have questions please feel free to contact our sales department at 877-998-3440

                Answer This Question

A:  The cables are 60ft long. Additional cables of 100ft are available for purchase. According to the user manual, beyond 100ft may cause signal degradation and additional power supply or shielded gables may be needed (BNC connections).

A:  1. The length of each camera cable is 60ft. 2. Our DVR systems can use standard unshielded 75 Ohm video cable or shielded RG59 cable. When using unshielded video cable we do not recommend going over 200 feet, but with shielded cable you can go up to 750 ft. You can also use CAT5 cable on these system and go from 1000 to 6000 ft depending on the type of video baluns that you use. If you use passive baluns on both ends you can go to 1000 feet, with an active balun on one end and a passive on the other you can go to around 4000 ft, with active baluns on both ends you can go to 6000. 3. Yes other cameras will work with the system, you will need to check their specifications to see if they are compatible to Q-See DVR's.
