A: Absolutely!
A: Hi Foster, Yes! You may use the 2.5 lb Water Soluble Fertilizer on hydrangeas. Our Proven Winners hydrangeas love it. This fertilizer was specifically designed for heavy-flowering plants. Just follow the recommended usage notes on the label. If you have any questions, please call our hotline (734) 654- 7485. Best regards, Fallon
A: Per directions on the container the ratio for outdoor plants is one tablespoon per one gallon of water.
A: Dear WOWK8, I don't think the Proven Winners Premium Water Soluble Plant Food is designed to go through a sprayer. If you wanted to try you would have to see how many gallons will run through it and mix 1 scoop per gallon with a little bit of water and put it in the sprayer. I hope this helps! Happy Gardening, Vicki-PW
A: Dont, it wastes it. Comes out way to fast. Best to use a five gallon bucket and pour what you need around the plant. Do not pour directly onto the plant, it can burn it up.
A: You can reach Proven Winners at their website at provenwinners.com. I am sure they will be happy to guide you. Hope this helps.
A: Do you have a container on your hose to tell you how many oz of the product to use.
A: directions for using this product were clearly posted on the label on the product container. Included amounts to use for both indoor and outdoor plants
A: for small areas like hanging baskets, you only need to use a teaspoon for each. If you are planting a large area a tablespoon or more for every 5 feet of garden area. My plants really look great so far & I am happy with this product.
A: Mix according to the directions on the bucket and saturate your hanging baskets every 3 to 4 weeks. At the end of the season I put the remaining fertilizer in a zip lock bag and seal in the bucket. You will be ready for next season.
A: Measuring scoop included, just one scoop per gallon and feed your flowers weekly. Enjoy Dan

A: I always use the pelleted continuous feed fertilizer in my hanging planters. I mix a rounded teaspoon with the soil when planting 12+ inch hangers and then sprinkle teaspoon around the top of the soil so that each time I water it dissolves a little of each pellet and delivers the fertilizer to the plant. Then watering is easy throughout the summer. I use liquid feed fertilizer for in-ground plants.
A: I am using the water soluble fertilizer so I just mix up a one gallon batch at a time per the insturctions and then apply per the guidance chart on the container. For an 18 inch pot the chart recommends one gallon of solution every 7 to 14 days. One tablespoon of of the plant food makes one gallon of solution.
A: You need to read the instructions and it explain everything. just follow them and you will be a winner
A: Most of my planters are a lot bigger but I just follow the directions that my mother gave me mostly from the packages that she used and it works just fine for me. If you have questions regarding Proven Winners products just visit their website at provenwinners.com. I am sure they will be happy to answer your questions. Hope this helps.
A: Hello Sharon, Thank you for the question, fertilizers can be a tricky subject. Our recommendations are the following: For slow/continuous release fertilizer apply four tablespoons at the beginning of the season and reapply after 6 months. For our water soluble fertilizer we recommend mixing one tablespoon of fertilizer into one gallon of water. Reapply this mixture whenever the soil is dry, so this could be every 7-14 days in the earlier part of the season and later in the summer that could be every 3 days. For your convenience there is a measuring scoop enclosed for easier measuring as well as more detailed instructions on the products. We hope this helps and good luck! -PW
