A: This is a very question. I have used this fertilizer for annuals outside only; that's how I seen it being used in several gardeners' videos, as well as Proven Winners' videos as well. The container says for flowering plants, so I'll assume it is for heavy flowering annual plants. You should reach out to Proven Winners customer service; they reply pretty quickly.

A: I use this for flowers. Pots and hanging baskets. I use it weekly. I use rose tone or holly tone for roses and gardenias.
A: This is a crystal powder that turns into liquid when added to water, so yes, you can use it on any plant pretty much.
A: I wouldn't use it on green hedges or green groundcovers. This is specifically for flowering plants. Green plants that do not flower have different requirements. It would be horribly expensive to use it on a green hedge and might not give those plants what they really want. Best to search online for how to fertilize green arboricola.

A: Hello. Yes, I use this on my hibiscus plants every other week. I follow the dilution and dosing instructions on the package. It helped keep my hibiscus plants blooming beautifully throughout the season!
A: When you plant the hibiscus use Espoma Plant tone in the hole, a handful. I would use half strength Espoma water soluble the first watering then full strength once a month thereafter. Happy Gardening!
A: Absolutely!
A: I can't imagine why they wouldn't be. This is fertilizer, not pesticide, so it should have helped your tomatoes. I haven't used on tomatoes, just on ornamental plants, but it's a good fertilizer.
A: Yes.
A: Yes
A: Hi cjd, The tomatoes should be safe to eat. As garden vegetables grow, they undergo an intensive process that strips nutrients from the soil. Adding fertilizer keeps soil in optimum shape to feed your garden. Commercial fertilizers are labeled with three numbers that indicate the fertilizer’s nutrient ratio. The first number indicates the percentage of nitrogen (N), the second number shows the percentage of phosphate (the type of phosphorus, P2O5), and the third number represents the percentage of potash (the form of potassium used, K2O). This is what the numbers 24-12-17 fertilizer blend represent. If you have any questions, please call our hotline (734) 654- 7485. Best regards, Fallon
A: It is safe for bees.
A: No this is not synthetic and it’s safe for bees!
A: Yes, it is a good product. I got my delivery after a week. If you want to fertilize your plants this product is the best.
A: No! All Espoma products are natural based!
A: "Synthetic"? No such thing. If you mean "manufactured", rather than "naturally-occurring" ... the components of this fertilizer are manufactured. Not sure how you would classify sludge from a sewerage treatment plant or chicken manure; to me, they're also "manufactured". Let's look at nitrogen, for example. The only nitrogen I know of is that which we breathe ... 78% of the air we breathe [and plants grow in] is nitrogen; and it doesn't do the plants any good. So it has to be "manufactured" into a form that can be absorbed by plants; these are called "compounds"; one of the most common fertilizer compounds is ammonia [where nitrogen from the air is combines with hydrogen derived mainly from natural gas (methane)]. Yes, it is safe for bees.
