A: This fixture is not a light sensitive fixture. You would need a bulb or switch with light sensitive features to get dusk to dawn functionality

A: Yes, my Home Depot had one in stock. That is what I used to have, but the sensor eventually got temperamental. So this time I bought the one without a motion sensor and instead inserted a light sensor that screws in and the light bulb screws into that. Home Depot also sells those very cheap. Now I have dusk to dawn floodlight which I like much better.

A: Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. Yes, you can install CFL/LED lamps as long as the equivalent rating does not exceed the original maximum wattage. Please pay careful attention to the bulb manufacturer’s warning/caution statements on the packaging or printed on the lamp. For example, many CFL’s will indicate on the packaging that they cannot be used in an enclosed fixture or used with a dimmer. Thanks!
