A: This fixture should not be used with any bulb other than what is specified. GU24 bulbs are available both at your local Home Depot store and online, so finding them should not be an issue and they will only become more common as time passes.
By the way, GU24 to E26 adapters are illegal under US law (Energy Policy Act of 2005).
