A: I have several of these installed in a commercial space. I do not think pull chains are compatible with this particular fixture.

A: This fixture has a medium base socket and is rated for up to a 150-watt bulb. Any bulb that does not exceed that rating can be used including incandescent, halogen, compact fluorescent and LED. If you choose to control the fixture with a dimmer, please follow the instructions on the bulb packaging regarding compatible dimmer controls.
