A:  Ryan, The plastic washers go in-between the treated lumber and the aluminum balusters to keep the balusters from corroding. For more details, see the Installation/Assembly instructions in the boxed-off Info & Guides area that is a ways down below the Add to Cart button. Specifically, you will be looking for Step 2: The spacing depends on local regulatory codes, but generally speaking are placed about 3.5-in apart.

A:  I am not sure if they are stainless. I think so, they are painted or anodized black. Anyway they are not rusting after 2 + years.

A:  The balusters are 32.25" long, with the flat sections on the end being about 4.5" long, making the curved section about 23.25" long. The curve sticks out about 2.25" +\-.125". The holes are about 0.75" and 2.75" from the end.
