A:  This item will fit any air tank with a 1/4" female threaded port. Some tanks have smaller or larger ports, but 1/4" is the most popular. An easy way to check is to remove the existing drain cock and see if it threads into one of your standard air fittings/hoses etc. Most of these are 1/4" thread as well. If you measure the diameter of the threads with a ruler, 1/4" threads will measure about 1/2" inch in diameter. Thanks, Primefit

A:  Right hand thread to attach to whatever. Believe the winged part is left hand, but I know to open valve and release air, turn counter clockwise. I'm using as an air relief valve for pool filter.
