A: First remove any items from the shelf and any items from the shelf below (if applicable). Work on one side of the shelf at a time. With a flat head screwdriver or a butter knife; slowly and firmly press the top plastic peg inward until it is past the edge of the resting shelf. From beneath, push the shelf upward enough to hold the pressed peg down. Repeat this process on the other peg. The same side of the shelf as the first locking peg. Together lift the entire side of the shelf that the pressed pegs are on. Rest this side of the shelf on the top of plastic shelf pegs. This procedure of pressing in the top peg is repeated on the alternate side of the shelf. When both sides are loose raise one side of the shelf upward, lowering the other side of the shelf and slide the shelf out of the cabinet. With the screwdriver or butter knife slide it's tip under the base of the shelf locking peg and gently rock the tool until the peg is released. Repeat this process on the other pegs until all locking pegs have been released. Select the new location for the shelf. Insert all the plastic locking pegs into the selected locations. Make sure they are level. Slide the shelf in at an angle. Lift the shelf above the shelf locking pegs then lower the shelf into place. Press firmly, not to hard. You should feel when the shelf is secured. Great job. NOTE: The plastic shelf locking pegs over time (about 10 years) dry out and become brittle. This will cause them to break easy.
A: When the self is installed and laying flat on the 4 clips the self can be moved down by lifting up the self from the clips and rotating the self sideways. In order to achieve this there must be enough clearance on top and bottom of cabinet to rotate self. If you do not have the clearance then insert 4 new clips to new below location in cabinet, pullout the original 4 clips and drop self to new location in the cabinet.

A: Yes, my shelves are 11/16" thick and these pegs work, as they would for any shelf not thicker than 3/4", as the shelves simply rest on the horizontal surface of the peg; if the shelf were thicker than 3/4", it would not be able to pass beyond the extending lever. One word of warning, though: using these pegs means that the only way you'll be able to remove a shelf is by sliding it out horizontally; if the shelf is too tight, that can be a major problem. Pegs that don't extend above the shelf make it easier to remove shelves, as well as not catching on objects on the shelves..
A: Thank you for your inquiry regarding this item from Prime-Line Products. It will not be snug. You could find a 1/16" thick shim to stick under your shelf if you wish for shelf to be locked into place. A: Use a flat blade screwdriver or metal spatula to push the tab on the top in and move the shelf up. You will need to do 2 at a time of course.
A: The little round peg on the back comes in different sizes and inserts in the holes drilled for the shelves. The first time I bought if chose two different sizes, because I wasn't sure which would fit.
A: Removing shelf clamp is a 2 person job. Hold down top clamp on left front and back at the same time and lift shelf up. Repeat process on the right side and side the shelf out. Than carefully twist post out of each hole and move to a new position. The clips are fragile be careful not to pull to hard. You can order replacements at the project desk in Home Depot. I keep spare on hand.
A: They just pop out. Put a thin screw driver behind it if its tight.
A: How do I remove these pegs to adjust my shelves
A: Thank you for your inquiry regarding this item from Prime-Line Products. It is not advisable. You may shear of the peg flush with the surface and the peg would need to be drilled out. You can contact the manufacturer directly with your questions regarding this item, or any other product manufactured by Prime-Line Products by calling their toll free number at (877) 649-9740, or by contacting them by email at info@primeline.net.
A: yes - i couldn't get it either!
A: They are just as hard to break then to just get under them with a thin knife and push them in so you can remove the board.Have a little patience and remove them correctly
A: We did not take any of these legs OUT. We bought them to replace one that broke and all our dishes fell out and broke!
A: Yes, just break them off. That's the reason I purchased them in the first place. They were broken and wouldn't hold up the shelves anymore.
A: There are a few things to try: 1. Check to see if the shelf locking pegs are in each location level and securely. If not, adjust the pegs. Turn the pegs from left and right while pressing them into the location. 2. There maybe something blocking the shelf locking pegs, a small piece of wood or stay plastic. Use a small screwdriver and clear any stray items. Then replace the pegs. 3. Ensure to lower the shelf onto the shelf locking pegs. Trying to slide the shelf onto the pegs will not work and the shelf will not be secured.

A: It is designed for a 3/4" thick shelf, although with the platform on the bottom it will work on a 3/8" shelf too. The curved tab on the bottom will secure it if you have them on each side across from each other, and the shelf is tight enough in width.
A: 3/4
