A:  I would suggest a 7/8 wide opening. The guide you select should be slightly wider than the track so it will glide easily without lifting out of the track. Refer to detailed dimensions available for each guide. RON

A:  I measured the broken bracket and just searched for same size... I was willing to sand and modify to make the new one work...turned out no adjustment required.

A:  No. 9/32 is slightly smaller than 1/4". 24/32 is 3/4" but the guide should be slightly larger than the track.

A:  you will attach to the back of the drawer on the bottom . Align guide with the slot on the bottom and screw it on.

A:  They attach to the back of the drawer, in the center at the bottom
