Q:How is this liner constructed?

A:  Hi Sharon, Thank you so much for your question. Our Patented AquaSav Coco Liner is constructed by sandwiching a piece of recycled plastic between 2 pieces of coco fiber. This creates a built-in water tray which not only reduces watering, but also prevents nutrient loss and fertilizer run-off.

    Q:Can you bury these in a larger metal planter on top of potting soil/crushed stone at bottom/sides. Then put plants and soil inside this? Seems like it might be a nice way to retain water in the planter for less watering.

      Q:Is there any way to keep the birds from tearing it apart after the season changes and the plants die? I bought the 3 liners that were on the shelf at my local Home Depot but I need one more because the birds pulled another one apart for nesting materials. It was across the railing from one that was already in bad shape. It could have been re-used if they had left it alone and used the fibers from the one that was already not reusable so I need one more. I'm going there in a few minutes so I'll look for another one.

              Q:This product does not seem to drain. Is it coated with a liner of some sort that keeps it from draining. It rained after we put them in the hangers and the water was an inch or more deep. I had to pour the water out. Do we need to poke hole in the liner to make sure it drains or will it drain?

              A:  No liner and drains well so far. I’ve only used it for a week. However, have purchased in the past and no problems. Flowers are always healthy.

              A:  They sent me the wrong size 37 inch not the 30. It was plenty deep, but to long.
