Q:Does this have a high gloss finish?

    1 Answer
    Answer This Question

A:  Yes, but if it is under water, you will not be able to see it. If it is outside of the water, you can rub it down with a scotchbrite pad like you'd find on the back of a kitchen sponge. Dip it in water and rub the surface down. It will dull out.

Q:Can this product be used for sealing a tile fountain? All the cracks have been sealed. Needs to be a clear coat that wouldn't change the look of the tiles much. i would apply 3 coats for max durability.

          Answer This Question

A:  You will have to rough up all of the tile considerably in order for the coating to stick. That may in fact damage the tiles appearance as well. But it is the only way to get a coating to stick to tile.

A:  Prep the surface by sanding thoroughly. This should work provided there are no cracks in the substrate.

A:  Nope, It is a failing coating. It needs to be removed before you can apply a new coating. Applying a new coating over a failing coating does not keep the failing coating from failing.
