      A:  When we manufacture our doors, they are not true to measurement ... we downsize the width to allow for the hardware and the swing when they are opened and closed. To ensure the door fits your doorway properly, you would require a special order. You should order the door at 35-3/4" wide. This can be done by going to the Millwork Department of your local Home Depot. They will need to call us and we will give them the information they need to place the special order.
