A: For the 36x80 Mezzo Bifold, the door is made to fit into a 36x80 finished opening. The actual door measures 35.5"w x 78.625"h. The area from the bottom of the door to the bottom of the glass area is approx. 34"h. The width of one of the door panels is approx. 17.75" w and the inner area of the raised panel section in the bottom of the door is approx. 15.25"w. Hope that helps!

A: Two units installed as a double door would require a finished opening of 48". The doors cannot be trimmed. Trimming the doors could weaken the joints and would void the warranty. The raised panel bottom is only on the front side.

Q:Can I use two sets of these on a foyer closet with an 80 inch x 60 inch opening? Also, the floor of the closet and foyer consists of 12 inch square tiles. So I'll either have to do some careful drilling (not thrilled about that idea) or I'll need to attach any "floor hardware" using some type of adhesive or two-sided tape or.... Thoughts?

Answer This Question
A: Yes, two 30" units can be used for a 60" finished opening width. The bottom "L" bracket supports the bifold door weight and we recommend the bracket be screwed to the floor.
