A:  This dog house can accommodate dogs from 31 to 50 lbs.

A:  Dear Kellen, The medium Alpine Lodge Dog House can hold up to 31-50 Lbs. For a 60 lb dog the large would be a better fit because it can support pets up to 80 lbs. Sincerely, Pet Squeak Support

A:  You will only need a Phillips head screw driver. There are eight pieces total. Front, back, and side walls to be screwed together with holes already there to use. There are two floor pieces that fit perfectly without any screws. The two roof pieces that will need screws that holes are already there to use as well. It is easy to construct. The manual is easy to follow.

A:  It only needs a Phillips head screwdriver. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Number of pieces -- 9. The panels, roof, and floor all come preassembled. Frankly, I was surprised by how easy it was -- MUCH easier than anything from Ikea!

A:  This item comes with 8 assembly parts and a hardware kit. The only tools required would be an allen wrench, which comes included.

A:  The roof shingles are as pictured, green wood shingles. No need to buy any.

A:  The roof is made from a sheet of plywood, scored to look like shingles; you don't need to purchase anything more. What you see in the photo is how it looks. I live in a very rainy area so gave the whole thing an extra coat of Varathane waterproofing.
