Q:Does the max indicated length include the casing itself? E.g., I intend to do an outside mount on a door to cover the glass which is exactly 64" tall. If I mount the casing right about the glass, will it extend 64 inches from there or do I need a 72"?

A:  Thank your for reaching out. The 64" includes the headrail and the shade together for the total length. Please ensure you have enough space and depth for an outside mounting.

        A:  Thank you for reaching out. The width will be from the range of 20"-72" then depth of the shade is 1.5" from front to back of the headrail. The length comes in set sizes of 48", 64" and 72".

          Q:We have a 48” cordless pleated shade that we’d like to cut down to (2) 18” size by cutting the sizes (1) from each end of the 48”. Can this be done and if so does Home Depot do it. It’s a Home Depot shade we purchased a while ago.

          A:  Thank you for reaching out. Apologies for the incovienence, but unfortunately the shade cannot be cut smaller in store. The length comes in select sizes of 48", 64" and 72" and the widths from 20"-72" in every 1/2" increment and cannot be made or cut smaller than that.             A:  Thank you for reaching out. The shade can be mounted inside or outside the window opening and have the bracket can be installed from the side or top of the railing.

              Q:Measurements on my bow window are 22 inches wide and 50 inches long. What size would. you recommend?

              A:  Thank you for reaching out. For an inside mount we recommend going 1/2" shorter than the measured size as to allow the shade to fit and operate properly. In this case a 21.5" Width will work perfectly and for the length the 48 would work but you may have a slight little opening of light coming through at the bottom so a 64" to completely cover it. However the length will be left up to your desire.

                Q:I plan on doing on an inside mount with the brackets on the top of the window frame but only have a 3/8-1/2 inch lip to screw it in. Is this enough? If not, what suggestions do you have to mount the bracket

                A:  Thank you for reaching out. Apologies for any incovienence but unforunately the space you have to work with is to little to safely secure the mounting brackets. Our shade is able to do an outside mount if you cannot do the inside mount.
