A: Hi Shadegardener,
Yes, the Creme Fraiche Deutzia will grow in partial shade. Sun to partial sun means that the plant requires about 4 hours of sunlight or more, but not less.
If you have any questions, please call our hotline (734) 654-7485.

A: Its deer resistant but if a deer is really hungry and there's nothing else around, nothing is safe.

A: it is deer resistant but my experience is that deer will eat anything that is new in the yard except fragrant plants like lavender or thyme. I no longer have the deer problem as I have moved, but it is likely that they will eat it.

A: Hi DES53, Creme Fraiche Deutizia are actually listed as deer resistant plants, meaning deer do not like the taste of these plants and most often leave them alone. However, deer will eat pretty much anything if they are hungry enough. If there are not tastier plants in the area, they may still try to eat this plant. If you have a really bad deer problem, I would recommend some of that spray that deters deer and also maybe a fence. I hope this helps!
