Q:Do these sprinkler heads spray a full 360 degrees, or 180, or are they fully adjustable? I might want to put them on the edge of my property and only spray 180 degrees so that i dont hit them with my core aerator.

A:  They are fully adjustable. In my setup, I have some spraying a full 360 degrees, and others spraying less than 180 degrees.

          Answer This Question

A:  That's a really small area. If I were you I'd just buy a one zone water timer and run a hose and sprinkler to it with the Melnor XT adjustable sprinkler. I use three of them to water 3 specific zones (with tight/weird spaces) with timers.

A:  I would not recommend adding pop-up spray heads to this kit. Sprays use a lot more water than the rotors that are included. You may not get enough water flow to pop up the heads.

Q:Trying to accomplish something like this (backyard only). The accurate length of pipe/tube in each zone is typed in feet. My GPM are 7.5. Can I do this entire setup in tubing and bypass in-ground PVC? I will use a 4-way timer off spigot.

              Answer This Question

A:  Looks like you have good flow. Check your PSI too. Here is an instruction from the manual that should help. This kit sues 1/2" Blu-Lock (HDPE) tubing and no PVC.

A:  You need a minimum of five GPM for this system to work. Good question, looks like a lot of reviews on here are confusing PSI for GPM. See the Step 1 instruction I included here.

A:  It should be self draining but I also blow it out with an air compressor with very low pressure like 25lbs.  I also disconnect the valve and store it in the garage.

A:  The square feet this covers varies depending on the nozzle used and water PSI that is supplied. At 50PSI using the 3GPM nozzle, our Saturn III nozzles can spray a 25 foot radius.
