A:  Yes. Brickwebb can be used around a fireplace or stove including the walls and floors. The thin brick is a kiln fired clay brick which is heated at over 2,000 degrees, so it will tolerate extreme heat or cold.

A:  It can be used for behind a wood burner and hearth. We just don't recommend putting it in direct contact with flame.
