Q:Can I up grade the hard drive with an after market (1TB) or an SSD? Thx

A:  Night Owl's DVRs/NVRs can accommodate up to a 4TB harddrive. Most of our systems come with a 3.5 inch HDD, but it can be replaced with a 3.5 or 2.5 inch HDD. The HDD should have a minimum of 7200 RPM. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.

    A:  Hello Tom. Yes, this system should be able to read a thermometer from such a short distance. However, if you place this camera further away, it will able to see the thermometer but not read it. Thank you and have a good day.

      A:  Hello, The system comes with 4 cameras and 1 Digital Video Recorder. The DVR will record everything that comes from the cameras. You can access the recordings by connecting a monitor/TV set to the DVR. Thank you.
