A:  I never use any type of cleaner. I turn all burners on high and let it burn for 15 minutes and then use a wire brush, not the grill brush, to remove the incinerated residue. After it cools wipe it down to remove any wire shards that might be there.

Q:Does not like to cook when 50 degrees or less, temp below 400 with all burners on. Can I return it

Answer This Question

A:  HOME DEPOT needs to answer your question. I don't know why they asked me to... Liquefied gasses stored in a bottle have an interesting behavior. the gas remains liquid inside the bottle, and only enough of it evaporates into gas until a certain pressure is met. (this pressure is different depending on the nature of the particular gas# if the pressure rises #because the tank heats up# the gas will condense back to a liquid, and if the pressure falls #due to lower temps) more of the gas will evaporate, resulting in a pretty constant PSI at the tanks valve. That pressure remains nearly the same as long as any amount of liquid is in the tank, as soon as all of the liquid is evaporated, only then will the pressure fall. With that knowledge, I would suspect the poor cold weather performance is the result of the regulator. Further, Call Nexgrill and ask them for advice. They were very helpful when I called for help installing a rotisserie on this grill. the phone number is in the user guide Hope this is helpful.

A:  I would use vegetable oil wipe the grates down then let the grill get hot and repeat if necessary and never you soap to clean grates after you seasoned clean warm grill with a brush and wipe down with vegetable oil to keep food from sticking and keep grates from rusting after each time you use grill I hope this answers your question

Q:CAN THIS GRILL BE USE AS A SMOKER ALSO

          Answer This Question

A:  No, the grill cannot be used as a smoker.

          by|May 4, 2023

A:  i imagine it could if you left the lid down and used wet wood to smoke items ..

            by|May 4, 2023

A:  Well, I suppose if you had a separate container (old frozen dinner alum. container) with dampened wood chips in it, over it's own flame section, that would create SMOKE, you could do it... BUT, this would be strictly an experiment with no guarantee that it would work. There is a little more air circulation here than with a real Smoker... I really think you could do it... BUT, don't expect the same results as with a real smoker... I think you could get good smoke tasting foods from it.... Here again, I have not tried it on THIS BBQ... I have done it on other BBQs over the years with decent results. Just don't keep opening the cover & letting the smoke out all the time; that would be a bad mistake. Good Luck!
