          A:  It isn't really about temperature that gets this product hot. It is the sun if the sun is directly shining on it then yes it will get hot. You can always put water on top to cool the product down to walk barefoot if it is too hot.

              A:  You can use liquid nail to secure it to the base. However most installations have enough of the product to hold it in to place by weight alone of the product.

                A:  You would have to use plywood or a polysheet to shim it since the whole thing has to be on a solid flat surface.

                    A:  278 boxes as you have 30 x40 is 1200 sq ft. Each box is 4.32 sq ft, total cost over $8000

                      A:  30x40 is 1200 sq . ft. divided by 4.32, you would need 278 boxes @28.81 a box

                        A:  Yes you can cut it anyway you like but the clips have to be fit into the grid or it wont work. The grids size are 13" x 13"
