Rinsing the stone and letting it dry before installation will not harm the panels.

A:  Yes, this product can be installed over existing tile with the proper tiling mastic. I can't comment on your plan to use it "around the tub." The product is water tolerant. It can be used in exterior applications that are exposed to rain.
