Q:Can these be used on top of peagravel
by|May 14, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Yes you can. We do ask that you double check that the pea gravel is thick enough (4"-6") to drain water so that the pavers do not sit in a puddle of water when it rains or during melting snow. You may want a layer of sand below each block to help you level them as you go but we do have many customers that space the blocks out and have the pea gravel in between the blocks for a different look. Our main instructions are to be sure that there is proper free drainage material below our pavers that do allow water to drain.

Q:Can this be used with silca grates system as base?
by|May 9, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: We have not tested our product on this type of base before so it would be at your own risk. The main components to keep in mind are free draining material underneath the block so any rain can drain through the block and into the ground and also being sure that you can level each block as you install. Our blocks have some details, to replicate the look of natural stone, on top and could make some edges seem higher than other edges. The easiest way to install would be to install a higher edge next to a neighboring block with a higher edge.
