Answer This Question
A: If your faucet requires a Tom Thumb Cache aerator that threads into your faucet spout, this would not be the aerator that you need. There are two flowrates for Tom Thumb Caches on HomeDepot.com. Unfortunately, SKU number 316884058 and 301680405 are not currently available on HomeDepot.com, so please check back shortly for activation.

A: If you have a removable housing in your pull-down spout that you cannot get out, try to soak it in white vinegar and water and use a soft toothbrush on the exterior. This will help to loosen mineral deposits. But some pull down faucets also require a key to remove the aerator. If you are not sure if you have a removable housing or if you require a key it would be best to contact the faucet manufacturer for instructions on how to remove your aerator.

A: You remove the aerator with a plastic KEY that should have come with the faucet. If u don’t have you can order a multi size ring of keys (from Neoperl) just use on the end of the spout and unscrew with the key, the aerator and washer will come out. A salesman at HD can show you how that would work

Q:Our current aerator is the tall white tipped one with a blue line at the bottom and green filter. I believe it fits with the yellow key, but it has threads. I can't seem to find that one.
