Questions and Answers for NDS 6 in. x 4 in. x 9 in. Plastic Flo Well Surface Drain Catch Basin Inlet

A:  The bottom of the housing is 4" pipe OD (4-1/2" actual OD) and will fit into a DWV or ABS sewer fitting socket. The material appears to be recycled PE and therefore unlikely to be able to be glued. I would put a self -drilling stainless screw through the fitting into the spigot.

A:  It only works with the FloWell container. Standard 4" pipes of any kind will not fit.

A:  I used it with 4" corrugated pipe and it snapped right on and held strong. No adapter needed.

A:  It only works with a FLoWell basin. I purchased many of these for an extensive home drainage system and the 4" standard 3 hole pipe doesn't find inside or around the 4" end of this device. HD sells a standard catch basin for much cheaper that fits a standard pipe.
