Q:I had someone drive over my yard and cracked the cover of the pop-up emitter. All else looks intact. Is there a way of replacing just the cover or do I have to dig/replace the entire elbow?

Q:Why does all of the water seem to exit via the weep hole and the emitter not pop up?

Answer This Question
A: Hi Matt, as water enters the system and fills up, water stays at a constant elevation. If there is no water ejecting from the pop-up it's an indicator that there is not enough water head pressure as water travels through the pipe. This pressure is converted into pressure energy, which help eject water through the pop-up emitter.
