Q:Are there any edge pieces or border pieces included even out the outside tiles? or will the "open" interlocking edges have to be left that way or trimmed?

A: There is no edges or borders included -the tiles will need to be cut. Note on cutting: cut tiles using a utility knife with a sharp blade and straight edge. To fit tiles around irregular shapes or corners, i.e. door jambs, pipes, etc, make a pattern from cardboard or heavy paper. Trace the pattern onto the tile and cut with a utility knife.

Q:I'm having trouble getting the tiles to interlock. Is there a trick to getting these together?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. Please refer to the Installation Instructions for the XR6 TILES which can be found under "Info & Guides" on the product web page. If you continue to experience difficultly getting the tiles to interlock, you may find it helpful to slightly cut the tiles using a utility knife where the tiles are not correctly locking. Using a rubber mallet can also help get the tiles to lock. Always be sure to take all necessary safety precautions when using the suggested tools.

Rubber Activity Floor (12-Pack) covering approximately 24.8 sq. ft. In order to calculate the square footage of your guest room, simply measure the length and width of the room and multiply: Length x Width = Area.
