We love it when our customer community try and share new ways of assembling our products to fit their needs but there is too many specifications to consider in switching from wood to aluminum ( strength of your aluminum extrusion, mixed of galvanised bolts with aluminum...) that it would be impossible for us to tell you a final yes or no. Nevertheless, we've created some kayak and pontoon aluminum ramp kits so the possibilities are endless I guess...
