A: I purchased in 2021, and it came with a user manual.
I like the Trimmer, but I would say that with a 5.0 battery it is actually on the heavy side, so I would not recommend if you don't have some upper body strength.

A: The bare 2726-20 weights 8 lbs. 12 oz.; the blade cover/protector weighs 9.2 oz.; a battery such as the CP3.0 battery would add 1 lb. 6 oz.; an XC8.0 battery would add 2 lbs. 7 oz.

A: The M18 Fuel Hedge Trimmer weighs 8.7 pounds, without the battery. I also have a Stihl gas-operated hedge trimmer, and the Milwaukee cordless is every bit as good as the Stihl.

A: Not gonna lie, with the big battery pack on it is pretty heavy. I had a electric one prior to this and it was much easier to use. It works great but will wear you out pretty quick. Just my opinion.

Q:Does this trimmer need HO batteries? I have a bunch of batteries (xc4.0, xc5.0, and cp2.0) but none are HO, wondering if I should get an HO batt with this tool. Anyone know how much runtime to expect from the xc4.0 and 5.0 batteries?

A: Well yes and no on this I have found. No it does not have a lock, but once you hit the unlock and pull the trigger, as long as it is running you do not have to keep pressing the unlock on the handle.
Or at least on mine it works this way. If you stop the blades you will need to press the unlock again then pull the trigger.

A: On my Hedger, I can not lock the trigger in the ON position.
by|Nov 26, 2022

A: No, the trigger can not be locked in the "On Position" but the trigger interlock is very accessible for right or left hand operation. Years ago I had a corded Black & Decker with the feature you described, but in my haste I ended up trimming the power cord. This Milwaukee unit is well balanced for ease of operation with the 5.0Ah battery. Hope this info helps.
