A: Hello Norman!
On items such as drill bits or hole saws for example, in some cases, there is really no warranty because it is considered a consumable item. With the drill bit I personally believe that after I’ve drilled so many holes that drill bit will eventually become dull and it’s up to me to discard or sharpen. I believe this is the way the manufactures look at items such as this that they make.
Good luck!

A: Hello Norman! This is one of those items, in my opinion, that doesn’t carry much of a warranty. It’s what I consider a “consumable” item. If I’m drilling X number of holes I expect the bits to dull or wear. So, putting myself in the manufactures shoes, how do you warranty an item that’s designed to destroy itself in the process of completing a task…I don’t know? When I purchase these I make sure to use them at the proper drill speed and pressure so they last and stretch my dollar, so-to-speak.
Good luck Norman!
