Answer This Question
A: How handy are you? This will very likely do it if you can drill through both sides on the same alignment then chipped it out. Pavers are cheap so just try it
I would first drill a hole with a smaller masonry bit to be a indicator. This tool takes a attention to detail but works perfect for drilling through a granite countertop

A: I’d never used a drill bit other than the standard "drill a hole in wood" type. In this instance, I needed to drill a couple of holes in recently installed shower tiles for a shower wand holder. I was very nervous about messing up the tile by cracking it/them. But this Milwaukee Diamond bit was easy to use and I ended up with two perfect holes in which to mount the holder. Super relieved and happy.

Answer This Question
A: This is a very good hole saw. I have used it for cutting holes in various thicknesses of glass and it worked well. It is important to keep the bit lubricated, I used water for the glass. I think it will work on a quartz countertop.

Q:How long does this last? I want to know how many bits I'll need to drill 400 holes in 1/8" glass.

A: This can greatly vary depending on technique and how much lubricant you use (water is fine) if any. If you want to be on the safe side get 4, if you make sure to keep it wet while drilling, you can get 150 holes out of each bit (possibly more. i am only speaking from personal experience). I personally used on 3/8" glass for a project

A: You will need multiple bits for 400 holes. Excellent bits.

Q:I am drilling into a granite boulder to attach an anchor bolt and am not through drilling. Any experts out there know if I could snap off the plug and remove it from the hole?

Answer This Question
A: Yes, the bit will only drill 1/8" deep unless you remove the bit and snap off the center material, then continue drilling.
by|Jan 25, 2022
A: Should snap off easily using a punch to dislodge it.
by|Jun 1, 2022
A: Yes - Easily - if fact the "plug" may snap as you are drilling. If it does not snap off deep enough to get the anchor in the granite simply drill a little deeper and snap off another section of plug, You may need a stiff hooked wire or thin screwdriver to remove the waste bits - or some compressed air. Use safety glasses any time you use high pressure air.
by|Jul 18, 2021
A: I think it will work for you. There is an exit port in the bit that should 'shove through' as you continue to drill
