          Q:I need to install 1/2-inch concrete anchors in the floor. The floor is high gloss porcelain tile. I have a 1/2-inch concrete masonry bit. Should I use this 1/2-inch diamond max to drill through the tile portion, then switch to the masonry bit to finish?

          A:  Yes use the 1/2” diamond but for the tile, much smoother cut.

            A:  Yes, this should work. We used this for Granite and it worked well.

              A:  start slow and dont put too much pressure on it untill it starts cutting

                A:  You need to make a jig out ou wood. Dill a hole in a board, at least 3/4" thick, on the angle and the same size as you want to drill with the diamond bit. Temporarily secure the jig to the surface to be drilled with clamps, hot melt, friction(stand on it)

                      A:  It will just burn wood. It is meant to cut ceramic with the use of water to keep it cool.

                          A:  I don't know I only use it on granite but it's a diamond tip so it should cut through it just make sure you use water

                            A:  I’m not sure because I used this on a granite top which it was designed for it might work if the cutting edge doesn’t get too hot so as to smear resins on the cutter.  I would think if you could spray a cooling water stream with some patience you will be successful
