A: Heavy metal will cut best with the 12/14. Blade will last longer.

A: I used the 12/14 to cut 1/4” stainless steel bolts only because there was no 8/10 available in store at time of purchase

Q:Milwaukee - Why don't you answer the 1st question - Why does the blade say 14/18 TPI. WE ALL Know that the more teeth per inch it cuts slower - Why does the blade title say 14/18 TPI. Even the 2nd answer says to ask the manufacturer - Who apparently doesn't know the answer either!!

A: The teeth vary on the blade to give it a broader effective range. Every so many teeth is a larger tooth. It performs similar to both a 14 and an 18 tooth blade. Should be a description on the Milwaukee website.

A: 14/18 TPI refers to the teeth per inch TPI. In this case 14/18 means that the TPI varies between 14 and 18 TPI. This gives you a better cut by providing the best of both 14 and 18 TPI
