Q:Since you are presently unable to stock the 14.4volt batteries, does Batteries Plus stock it? Is there anyplace that this battery can be sourced, its terrible to let such a great drill lie unused.

Q:IS THERE A WAY TO CHECK IF YOUR CHARGER IS WORKING PROPERLY

Answer This Question
A: Yes... put a known good but depleted battery on it. After the charge cycle it should read full voltage and be able to run your tool dependably.
A multi meter would be handy to check it with so you can check. Also a Batteries Plus office can check it for you.

Answer This Question
A: No the 18 volt battery will not fit a 14.4 volt drill. The bad thing about the 14.4 volt is that they do not make it in a Lithium Battery, you can only get it in the Ni-Cad version. The Milwaukee 14.4 drill is a good drill and well worth buying a new battery unless you can get a 18 volt at a very good price.

A: I don’t believe so. Even if the batteries have the same connection style I don’t think they will work out of their voltage range

A: NO , ALTHOUGH YOU CAN USE 14.4 VOLT IN ANY OF YOUR MILWAUKEE 12 VOLT TOOLS , ALSO A 14 VOLT BULB WILL WORK WITH 12 OR 14.4 VOLT POWER-PLUS SHOP LIGHT, IF YOU HAVE ONE! (THE 18 VOLT I BELIEVE IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT IN SIZE AND CONFIGURATION!)

A: they are genuine. They work as they should. We use them in a professional application that is pretty demanding. The tool is "like new" now.
