A:  Hi Jade, This tile can be used on kitchen countertops. This tile is a PEI (Porcelain Enamel Institute) 3, meaning that it is “suitable for medium-duty residential floors including kitchens, halls, corridors, balconies, terraces and areas used more often with normal footwear and small amounts of dirt.” Also, this item is glazed, so that will help prevent staining when contaminants are cleaned up in a suitable amount of time. A:  Hi Maria, There are quite a few colors in the Candela. There are shades of black and gray that can be found in the background. The shades of browns and tans include wheat, chocolate, and caramel tones. The shades of pink include rose and salmon hues. You can also find different shades of sage green. Keep in mind that there are different patterns on each tile, so there may be more of a certain color on one tile than another. We do not offer samples of this product, but Home Depot does offer a 90-day return policy. If you were to order this and were displeased, you could return the product to Home Depot in unused condition in the full amount that it was sold (i.e. a case would need to be returned as a full case).
