A: Not to my knowledge, sounds like an electronic issue within the stove itself. Maybe shorted something when the power fluctuated. Get with Maytag. Hope this helped

Answer This Question
A: Jaspaf: To Broil Using Hi/Low Temperature Settings: 1. Place the food in the oven, preheating is not necessary when using the lower oven. For the upper oven, preheat oven for 5 minutes then put the food in the upper oven. 2. Position oven door to broil stop position. 3. Press BROIL for the desired oven. “BROIL” scrolls down in the upper text area or scrolls up in the lower text area, depending on oven selected, and “HI” is displayed. “Set temp or” scrolls in the selected oven text area, followed by “Push START.” 4. Press the Temp/Time “+” or “-” pads to adjust the broil temperature setting to HI or LO. 5. Press START. “Broiling” scrolls in the selected oven text area. NOTE: The broil temperature may be changed at any time by pressing the Time/Temp “+” or “-” pad until the desired temperature is displayed and pressing START. Changing the temperature once food is placed in the oven could affect the performance. “BROIL” scrolls in the selected oven text area once the set temperature is reached and remains there until CANCEL for the desired oven is pressed. 6. Press CANCEL for the desired oven when finished. 7. Remove food from the oven.- If you are still experiencing an issue, feel free to reach out to us at 1-800-344-1274.

Q:Is it ventless?

Answer This Question
A: As far as I know, all ovens are vented, but just above the cook-top and not with any sort of external duct-work. This unit is the same, and doesn't have any extra vents you wouldn't expect from a standard residential electric model.
by|May 4, 2023
A: The range does not connect directly to any external venting. A separate range hood is used to vent any excessive or unwanted odors, etc. to the outside of the residence.

Answer This Question
A: The bottom oven handle is 22 inch from floor to top of handle...however that could change somewhat up or down as you level the stove. The bottom oven handle is set in 2 inches from the edge of the stove. Hope it fits as this is a very nice double oven.
by|May 4, 2023
A: The top of the handle is 21.5 inches from the floor and extends 2.5 inches from the front of the oven door.
by|May 4, 2023
A: Shea, the handle is about 22" inches from the bottom of the range and the door handle is about 1 1/4".

A: I realize it may be too late to help you, but I'll answer for others and future reference.
That is almost certainly an electrical fault in the range that could be very dangerous. Call a technician immediately and do not touch the range until they've fixed it.
